By the heated look on Chloe’s face they were doing the same to her. She gasped, jolting forward slightly as Rick and Joel started to finger fuck both of their asses. They held each other, kissing again as the sensations increased, the new touch of Chloe’s pussy combining with the familiar touch from his husbands throwing him into sheer bliss. The knowledge that their family was now complete somehow added to the amazing overload in his mind.

He jerked in their hold, his cock throbbing as he pushed again and again into Chloe’s pussy, his orgasm so close, so near, so necessary that he thought he’d go insane. Chloe shook wildly in his arms, her pussy clenching tight around him as climax burst through her. She moaned, her body convulsing again and again as she dragged his orgasm from him also.

Noco held her close, his hands caressing over her soft skin as she panted and slowly came down from her beautiful release. She turned her head to rest on his chest, his arms seeming to move of their own volition as he wrapped a warm hand behind her head and pressed her to his heart.

The emotions that flooded through him for the human woman in his arms were just as strong as his feelings for his husbands, the unbelievable sensation of rightness making him smile like a silly plooda.

Joal noticed, grinning just as hard as he carefully untangled them and helped Noco off the table. He moved to where Varn and Kyle held each other and wrapped his arms around them both. Joal joined them a moment later, his hold binding the four of them together as they watched Rick cradle Chloe as she rested in his arms.

Rick held Chloe close to his hearts and fell in love with her even more deeply. She’d accepted her place in their family pod so beautifully, despite the way he’d fucked everything up. She’d already seen him at his worst, and instead of pulling away and being frightened, she’d opened her arms and accepted their love.

The fact that they could leave this planet soon was a precious gift that he would never forget. She’d granted them all their one most fervent wish—to complete their family and go home. A part of him even hoped that Chloe and Kyle would agree to become pregnant on the long journey back to their planet.

Chloe smiled, but her eyes were closed and her body had gone limp. Even with the changes the claiming had wrought on her DNA it was obvious their podmate, their wife, was exhausted. As much as Rick wanted to claim her again right now, this time surrounded by their podmates, he knew she needed some rest.

“It’s okay,” Varn said, moving to caress a hand over Rick’s spine. “I can help Chloe recover faster.”

“You can?” he asked in surprise. Rick knew that once Chloe and Kyle were pregnant that they would need their coden-volas to help them with nourishment in the symbiotic phase of their pregnancies, but he hadn’t realized that Varn would feel able to provide that support right now. Rick glanced at Noco, who shook his head slightly. Whatever Varn thought he might be able to do, Noco seemed unable to provide the same.

“I can,” Varn said, a slight prickling feeling invading Rick’s skin where Varn stroked him. Rick immediately felt stronger, almost like an unknown energy surged through him.

“How?” he asked, completely bewildered by his podmate’s unexpected and unusual skill.

Varn blushed but didn’t back away. “My dal-shera was Cornodran.”

Rick tried not to react in disbelief. Cornodra had been the inhabited planet closest to Jernodria, but it had suffered a catastrophic event many Earth years ago during a bitter civil war. Cornodrans were considered extinct.

Varn must have sensed his questions because he smiled and moved his hands gently over Chloe’s skin. “My dal-shera was one of a handful of people who’d been off-planet when the disaster happened. She assimilated into Jernodrian life, but when her pod realized she wasn’t Jernodrian they rejected us both. She did her best to raise me alone, but without our dria-coldar to sustain the genetic changes she died a few years later.”

“That’s why you were alone for so long?” Joal asked, his voice thick with emotion.

“I’m okay, now,” Varn said shyly, his smile at Chloe so very sweet. “I found a family willing to accept me for who I am, not where I came from.”

“Same here,” Chloe said, reaching for him and drawing him close enough to press a kiss to his cheek. “I think we’ve both found exactly where we belong.”

“Do you feel better now?” Varn asked, smiling brightly when she nodded. He moved back then, stepping into the embrace of their podmates. Rick reached a hand to him, his love for their youngest podmate swelling through him. They’d all known that life had been difficult for Varn but they hadn’t understood the extent or the cause of his loneliness.

“I promise you, all of you,” Rick said, his voice failing him for a moment, “that will never happen in this family. We stick together. Always.”

“I know,” Varn said calmly, his faith in their love obvious in his smile.

Rick turned his attention to the woman lying in his embrace. “Can I claim you properly now, sugar?”

“Absolutely,” she said with a wide smile.

  Chapter Six

Chloe blinked away happy tears, the energy boost that Varn had given her making her feel like she could run a marathon. Wow, that was one very handy skill. She ached for what Varn had been through, but she was certain that he’d never have a reason to feel that way again. None of them would. She knew that in her heart.

The rest of her podmates gathered around as Rick lifted her up higher and moved her to a position that meant she could kiss and embrace each one of them in turn. She was already squirming again with arousal just by being surrounded by so many sexy men, but it was the love and affection she felt from all of them that turned her on the most.

She sighed softly as Rick pushed his cock into her pussy, filling her and fucking her gently.

“Welcome to the family,” Rick whispered, his voice seeming to come from all around her.

Chloe opened her mouth eagerly as she felt his tongue press against her lips. He thrust into her mouth gently, stroking and licking her slowly. Varn and Noco moved to stand on either side of her, their hands and mouths traveling over her aching breasts, both men exploring her gently as yet more hands traveled over her stomach, her thighs, even her calves and feet. Every inch of her was being caressed, her arousal burning brightly but slowly, somehow deeper and more demanding than anything she’d ever felt before. But at the same time soothing and calming as lips joined their hands and all of her podmates made slow, sweet love to her.

But such incredible sensations couldn’t be confined, wouldn’t be controlled, refused to be tamed. Chloe jolted, her arousal suddenly flaring, her need urgent, her gasping cry muffled by the tongue in her mouth. She arched, taking Rick deeper, sucking hard as she tried to hold back her need.

“It’s okay, sweetie,” Kyle said, his voice seeming close to her ear. “Let go. We’re all here to catch you.”

She sighed, the words filling her with their love even as her orgasm washed over her, the incredible sensation going on and on, her men’s movements prolonging the climax as she moaned with the incredible pleasure. Release burned through her veins even as another orgasm suddenly burst, this time shaking every cell in her body.

Again Rick’s tongue swelled in her mouth, pushing deeper into her throat, the sensation no longer terrifying. She moaned happily as Rick’s groan filled her ears, his cock throbbing inside her as he pumped his cum into her body and the barb on his tongue pierced her flesh.

This time she felt it, the strange tingle, the connection between them, the one that proclaimed they belonged together in this pod, this family.

She was almost down, almost back in her own body, almost over the orgasms that had shattered her when she heard a soft laugh. “Not yet, sugar,” Rick said as his torso glowed blue-green and he started to fuck her in earnest.

He started to plunge violently into her pussy, over and over, in and out, her body writhing in reaction, her thoughts scattering as she became pure
sensation. Wave after wave after wave of heat flowed over her, the sensations never ending, never ceasing, never slowing as she shook violently and silently vowed to love her men for a lifetime and beyond.

Noco sensed Rick’s approval as he stepped into the fray and carefully helped to extract Chloe from in the middle. He smiled as Kyle rested in Joal’s arms, exhausted but content. Rick helped to steady them both as they stumbled toward Kyle’s bathroom.

With Chloe in his arms, Noco turned toward her bedroom in the hopes that her bathroom had a tub like Kyle’s had. He grinned when he stepped into the room and realized her bath was even bigger. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw Varn shaking his head in mock disappointment.

“And to think we squeezed into Kyle’s bath when we could have been soaking in that.”

“I doubt we would have found the energy to climb out afterward,” Noco replied with a grin.

“Very true,” Varn agreed, sounding far happier than he’d seemed earlier. Noco had always made an extra special effort to let Varn know he was an important part of the family pod, but Noco knew Rick claiming Chloe last night had left Varn feeling unsure of his place once more. Knowing what he now knew of Varn’s awful past, it was wonderful to see his podmate adjusting quickly and smiling once more.

“Somebody will have to hold me up, because I seriously don’t fancy drowning in my own tub.” Chloe grinned even though her eyes were still closed. “Especially now that I’ve found five men I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

Varn smiled, his happiness that Chloe had joined their family wonderful to see. “Quick shower and then a long soak,” he said confidently as he moved to turn on the shower, made sure the temperature was perfect, and then stood back to let Noco carry Chloe into the small cubicle. She sighed softly as he carefully placed her on her feet and turned his attention to getting her cleaned up.

Several minutes later the three of them lounged in the tub as it slowly filled with water. As promised Varn held her in his arms, making certain that if she did fall asleep that she wouldn’t slide under.

“This is nice,” she said, snuggling closer as Varn and Noco caressed her and each other soothingly. “Do they have baths on your planet?”

“Absolutely,” Varn said, his arms tightening around her as he happily described the type of bathing most common on Jernodria. The closest they’d come to finding something similar on Earth had been the indoor pool in a house they’d considered renting, but the water had been—apparently by necessity—so filled with chemicals such as chlorine that none of them had been able to get past the smell long enough to see what the water felt like. “I’m very much looking forward to showing you and Kyle around your new home.”

“How long will it take to get there?”

Varn looked at Noco, his smile faltering slightly as he struggled to convert the time from Jernodrian days to Earth days.

“About one hundred and two Earth days.” It was obvious by his expression that he wasn’t positive that he’d calculated correctly, so Noco gave his podmate a warm smile and nodded his head in agreement. Varn had worked hard trying to increase his level of education since joining them. Despite his slight lack of confidence it was clear that it was paying off.

“Three months?” Chloe asked as she seemed to slip into an exhausted sleep. “At least I’ll have time with you all before I meet my mothers-in-law.”

Noco chuckled at those softly spoken, sleepy words. He was very much looking forward to seeing his parents and siblings, as humans would call them, but he was looking forward to three months of traveling alone with his podmates even more.

  * * * *

Joal happily washed Kyle down, using one hand to hold his podmate in place as he caressed soap into every crevice with the other. He would have liked for the rest of the pod to join them, but with the two of them in the shower and Rick leaning against the vanity it didn’t leave much room in the area humans used for bathing.

It was just one more reason he was looking forward to getting home.

“Is Chloe okay?” Kyle asked, sort of startling himself out of being asleep on his feet.

“Of course,” Rick said, reaching his hand into the shower and cupping Kyle’s face. “Why would you think otherwise?”

Kyle blushed, glanced at Joal, and then ducked his head again.

“I was just worried that we were a little rough. She’s so tiny compared to the rest of us.”

Joal was a little hurt by the suggestion that he hadn’t taken care of their podmate, but he tried not to let it show. It was natural for Kyle to be concerned for the woman he loved.

“When I claimed Chloe, it made her stronger,” Rick said in a reassuring voice. “You know that.”

“But I didn’t think it happened straight away. I mean, it seemed gradual for me.”

Joal smiled and used a hand to smack a small sting onto his podmate’s ass. “Trust me, Kyle. It worked for you straight away.”

“It did?” he asked, seeming confused. “I didn’t feel any different.”

“That’s good,” Rick said with a smile for both of them. “It means that it worked properly.”

“Oh,” Kyle said with a slightly embarrassed laugh, “in that case I think I need some sleep now.”

He was asleep almost before he finished the sentence. Rick smiled, reached for a towel and then lifted him out of the shower and into his embrace. Joal quickly followed him, shaking his head when he realized that Rick was using his telekinetic abilities to change the sheets on the bed without having to put their lover down.

“Show-off,” he said affectionately as he moved to help. Rick grinned that confident smile that Joal hadn’t seen yet today. He smiled back. “I love you.”

A hand touched his face lovingly. “I love you, too. Did Chloe really say we can leave in a couple of days?”

“She did,” Joal said, feeling his grin widen. Only a few hours ago their future had seemed uncertain and full of stress. Yet now he almost felt like he could fly. “We’ll need to make a few arrangements, but all going well we should be able to leave the planet by Friday hopefully.”

Joal slid onto the freshly made bed and held his arms open so that Rick could lower their sleeping podmate into his embrace. He cuddled Kyle close as dreams of the future they planned flowed through his mind.

“I’m just going to check on the others,” Rick said, his obvious need to protect them all very clear in his voice.

Kyle’s bed wasn’t nearly big enough for all of them to rest in, and even though Joal had never seen Chloe’s bedroom he suspected hers was the same.

“Should we head back to our house for tonight? We’d all be a lot more comfortable.”

Rick smiled. “I’d like that. When Kyle and Chloe have had some rest we’ll pack some essentials for them both.” He turned to leave the room, but spun back apparently to voice another thought. He hesitated for a moment, then headed back to the side of the bed where Joal and Kyle lay. He knelt beside the bed, his warm hand caressing Joal’s face. “Thank you, sweetheart. You always manage to know exactly what I need.”

Joal winked. “Just doing my job.” Traditionally speaking, that was exactly what he was doing. The yala-coldar was usually the first podmate to join a dria-coldar as he built his family, so it was only natural that he would also be the one to anticipate their dria-coldar’s needs. But with Rick and Joal the connection was deeper than that. As each member of their family had been claimed, Joal’s understanding of the stresses Rick lived with had grown.

In the past few hours it had finally occurred to Joal that, with dal-sheras so rare on Jernodria, Rick’s need to protect them would be even stronger when they got home than it was for him to keep them all safe here on Earth. As much as Joal had been looking forward to going home, it no longer seemed the safe haven he’d been dreaming of for the past year.

As the only other family member not directly involved in the creation and growth of their offspring, Rick would need
Joal’s support now more than ever. As his lover and friend nodded and then headed out of the room, Joal silently vowed to never let his dria-coldar down ever again.

  * * * *

Noco tried to keep his caresses light and affectionate, but having Chloe and Varn both in his arms was intoxicating. He, Joal, and especially Rick had waited a long time for the rest of their family to join them and now the urge to bind them all together with offspring was nearly overwhelming.

It seemed when it came to the natural urge to procreate, he was less in control than he’d previously realized. Apparently adult and sentient didn’t quite translate to being free of ancient biological compulsions.

Rick came into the bathroom silently, his ability to move without a sound just one of his many talents that would ensure his family’s safety.

  “She’s exhausted,” Noco whispered.

“Kyle, too,” Rick said with a happy grin. “Joal suggested that we’d be more comfortable at home tonight, so after they’ve had some rest, we’ll head back to the house. I need to contact the Jernodrian High Council, and I would be much happier to have my whole family close now.”

Noco smiled and nodded at his dria-coldar. Rick had been torn when Kyle had refused to move in with them—mainly because neither of them had wanted to leave Chloe alone—but now that those reasons were no longer valid, Rick was obviously eager to have his family all under the same roof.

Rick stayed for a while, just watching Chloe and Varn rest in the warm water.

“Did he say anything to you?” Rick asked quietly, apparently missing the fact that Varn was only pretending to be asleep. Noco was holding them both up so that there was no chance of them sliding under the water, but he recognized that Varn’s determination to protect Chloe was very strong. There was no way he would actually let himself fall asleep and risk her safety.

“Not a word,” Noco said honestly. They’d all known that Varn’s history was painful, but until today he’d never spoken about it.
